‘Milestone’, as a small mark by the road, is what this architectural project is about, in a wide natural landscape. Around an insignificant and random small stone, one build dreams, schizophrenically, one wonders, lost in nature, in loneliness, we perceive our own nature, mislead, we feel the void of our expectations, caged in our limits, resonance, like a single tone, misplaced of a melody, that is hard to reach. There must be a path, there must be a melody.
As a building, (or a set of buildings in a ‘melody’), the design of this house is similar to any habitation program, with 12 bedrooms (12 musical semitones). It’s added: an outdoor art gallery, (by the pillars, under the long platform); a pool with sculptures underwater, (this art gallery and sculptures should be representative of the place where the building is implanted); and a music studio. So, it’s a house for recording musical work by musicians and bands, invited for a certain period of time.
As a shape, the building mimics a musical note linked to a sheet of music, link which can change when thought a melody in several tones, (several houses). The topographic body, that resembles a frame, intermediates random topography with the ground floor of the building. The building would be connected to the nearest city by a road, ensuring provisions, garbage collection and infrastructure connections.
 

Esta obra apresenta um projeto arquitetónico numa extensa paisagem natural. Na arquitetura do mesmo estabelece-se uma relação estética associada à música: apresenta 12 espaços do mesmo modo que uma oitava possui 12 semitons.
A estes espaços acrescenta-se ainda uma galeria de arte ao ar-livre, uma piscina com esculturas no fundo desta e um estúdio de música. Assim, é também uma casa para gravar música para músicos e bandas, convidados por um certo período de tempo.
Como forma, imita uma nota musical ligada a uma partitura de música; ligação essa que pode mudar quando se pensa uma melodia em vários tons (várias casas).
